Portfolio Artifact Description: Classroom- Using drawing tools to create a two
dimensional layout of a home
What I learned: Creating a classroom was a fun, interesting project. I have thought
about what my classroom would look like but have never actually laid it out. It is a good
way to think about making good use of your classroom space. I can use this template to
go back and make changes as I get further down my educational goals. I learned how to
use other shapes other that the line tool, as well as changing their colors.
National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers Addressed: Standard #3-
Knowledge Constructor. Students critically use resources like digital tools to construct
knowledge, “produce creative artifacts and make meaningful learning experiences for
themselves and others.”
Application of Skills Learned of the Future: I think this assignment will be beneficial for
students. They would be able to use a variety of shapes, use space management and
consider the best possible layout.
