FILLER FEATURES – Still products – Hot filling
FEATURES PLUS POINTS
Filling at atmospheric temperature (*) Reduced risk of deformation, even for very
light bottles

Product recycling through filling valve All filler parts in contact with products
positively at right temperature even in
case
 of filler stoppage

Modulating valve on recycled product Possibility to minimize percentage of

return recycled product (impact on quality,
sizing of processing)

Capability to handle pulpy products Flexibility in handling a wide range pf

products

(*) in option slight overpressure Reduces oxygen intake in the bowl in

for inert gas case of filler stoppages

BLUESTAR 2000
FILLING VALVE

Compact unit
Easily assembled/dismantled, since
fixed on the carousel by only two
screws
Very fast maintenance
Highest performances in terms of
speed, hygiene and sanitation
Level tubes fitted to the body valve
without threading (easy and fast
dismantling and good sanitation)
External springs on the pushbuttons
allow easier sanitation and fast
replacement, if required

FILLING VALVE

Depending on type of products, different

kinds of filling valves are available based
on:
Counter-pressure: for products not liable to
oxidation and with low CO2 content in the
bottle
Counter-pressure with
flushing/preevacuation: for products liable to
oxidation and with high CO2 content in the
bottle
Gravity filling for non-carbonated products
Decompression gas collected in manifold

TWIN SYSTEM

PET BOTTLES
A neck support holds the bottle and the
bottles are raised by a special pneumatic
piston co-axial with the valve axis

GLASS BOTTLES
The raising is effected by bottle lifts

BY COMBINING THE PNEUMATIC-

CYLINDER VALVE WITH THE BOTTLE
LIFT, THE TWIN SYSTEM VERSION CAN
HANDLE BOTH GLASS AND PET
BOTTLES

BLUESTAR 2000
PET BOTTLES NECK HANDLING

Bottle handling by the neck for PET bottles

requires only minimum change over
Adjustable body starwheel (for
round bottles)

Only the discharge starwheel in the capper

(lowering starwheel) needs to be changed

CLOSING UNITS – DUO CONFIGURATION

Working principle
By rotating on a pivoting shaft,
closing turrets are alternatively
sited in working / standby position.
The movement of raising and
lowering the towers for these
operations is effected by a gear
motor controlled by the machine
operator panel

Advantages
Less floor space required for the
machine
Same working position
Easy changeover
