Portuguese culture
TYPICAL MACAU DISHES

MINCHI:

It is said that the minchi was the favorite dish of the young people of Macao. the
name of this recipe comes from the English "to mince" (chop). it was probably
introduced in Macao through the Anglo-Indian influence of Hong Kong, since there is
no record in indo-Portuguese texts.

-750g of beef, pork or a mixture of both -1 chopped onion

-1 chopped shallot -1 clove of chopped garlic

2 tablespoons of olive oil. -3 tablespoons of soy sauce.

-Potato in small cubes. -Salt and pepper to taste.

1 bay leaf. -water q.b.

125g of chopped Portuguese chorizo ​(optional). -Steamed rice.

BOLLOS DE PAN:

Pork-filled buns are the most popular street food snack, Street Food.

DIM SUM:
Dim sum is a light Cantonese meal that is usually served with
tea. it is eaten sometime between morning and early
afternoon. contains combinations of meat, vegetables,
seafood and fruits. it is usually served in small baskets or
dishes, depending on the type of dim sum

-250 g minced pork. - 250 g of chopped raw prawns

- A quarter teaspoon of salt. - Pepper to taste

- A spoonful of chopped spring onion. - A spoonful of soy


sauce

- A spoonful of oyster sauce. - One tablespoon of sesame oil

- A spoonful of cornstarch. - Carrot pieces to decorate

- 20 'wonton' dough wafers.
