BASIN
sistem minyak bumi Sumatera Tengah adalah salah satu
sistem minyak lacustrine yang paling penting di Asia
Tenggara. Formasi Brown Shale (lacustrine) dari Grup
Pematang telah menghasilkan ~ 60 × 109 barel minyak.
Faktor-faktor yang telah berkontribusi pada produksi minyak
Cekungan Sumatra Tengah :

# adanya sekuens graben dengan serpihan lacustrine kaya-

organik yang tebal,
#sekuen jebol laut di atasnya dengan reservoir yang sangat
baik
#pengembangan struktur awal, dan aliran panas cekungan
yang tinggi.
cekungan synrift (disimpulkan sebagai area pembangkitan hidrokarbon) dan ladang
minyak / gas yang diklasifikasikan menurut tahap cekungan dari reservoir tempat
terjadinya.

postrift. Sebagian besar dari banyak akumulasi hidrokarbon hadir terletak tepat di atas
