Discuss among the group the cranial fontanelles (fonticuli cranii) that consist of :
1. Anterior Fontanelle ( fonticullus anterior / fonticullus major / ubun-ubun besar / u2b )
Pada bayi, bregma belum menutup, sehingga kepada bayi baru lahir, masih bisa diraba ada
cekungan. Menutup sekitar usia 1,5 tahun. Bila bayi mengalami dehidrasi, fontanel anterior
agak melesek masuk kedalam.
2. Posterior Fontanelle ( fonticullus anterior / fonticullus major / ubun-ubun kecil / u2k )
1. What their connection with Sutura Bregma and Lambda??
Pada bayi, lambda belum menutup,. Menutup sekitar usia ½ tahun. Fontanel posterior
diggunakan untuk menentukan posisi kepala bayi dalam partus normal.
