What did you do at
the weekend?
• Please talk to the person next to you about what you
did during the weekend

Ask the following questions:

- What did you do?
- Where did you go?
- Who did you go with?
- When did you go?
- How long did you spend there?

Report back to the class what the other person did.

 Supermarket Sweep
• This game is all about using your memory and
knowledge of English vocabulary
• We will take it in turns to mention a letter of the
alphabet and think of a product/item beginning
with that letter that you would find in a
supermarket
• We must go in the order of the alphabet
• We must remember everything the people before
us have said and begin by saying “I went to the
supermarket and bought a/an….”
• If you cannot think of a word in 10 seconds you are
out

Make sure to avoid repeating the same words twice.
