Frame Architecture in FDD mode
• LTE frame required to make communications
between two users or devices.
• LTE frame has total duration of 10 milli seconds.
• And it has total 10 subframe, each one having
the duration of 1 ms. And those are numbered
from SF-0 to SF-9.
• And each subframe has two (2) time slots (TS),
each one having the duration of 0.5 ms.
• And it have total 20 TS, which are numbered
from TS-0 to TS-19.
Frame Architecture in TDD mode
• During the TDD mode, LTE frame is divided
into two half frames. Each half has duration of
5 ms.
• And each half frame has 5 Subframe, each one
having two timeslots.
• The durations for timeslots and subframe are
remain same as FDD mode.
