A survey of 218 Bulgarians aged 16-81 was conducted to study attitudes towards Bulgaria's 12 years of EU membership. The survey found that respondents had an overall positive view of EU membership, believing it increased GDP, standard of living, and mobility for residents. Younger respondents saw more economic and social benefits, while older respondents were more positive about increased education opportunities through programs like Erasmus+. Respondents also felt EU membership helped Bulgaria develop European values and culture and improved standards of living and the environment.

Bulgaria's EU membership has had a lasting impact on residents' mobility. There is a stratification of the results in terms of the economic and social spheres, which may be due to the age distribution. The popularity of the European Erasmus + program for education, training, youth and sport is significant because of the high proportion of students surveyed. The appreciation of the European values and culture is highly positive, due to the fact that Bulgarians would like to follow the European model in the development of the country. The respondents claim that their standard of living has increased and the environment is improving. Thank you!
