be explained and interpreted. Also, this science is allied with social sciences because they
make approaches to language.
We can relate the article with the film "Good Will Hunting" because we can recognize the
diversity of language of the characters. For example, Will (the main character) uses certain
expressions and vocabulary that other people do not use. This is due to he grew up in another
place, in South Boston specifically, in an orphanage, and was a victim of abuse when he was a
child. To illustrate that, in the film, we can see Will saying vulgar words all the time, which are
very common in places such as the one where he grew up. In conclusion, the sociocultural
surroundings of Will had influenced his use of language.
