• Five features of the Xbox 360:
• Online play – This enables you to play against your friends or against other people competitively. This would mainly
appeal to teenagers as they can socialise with there friends while there playing online against or with them. This
would appeal to gamers who like to test themselves online against friends.
• Media Consumptions- The media consumptions which you can do on Xbox are play CD’s, DVD’s, Listen to the radio
and watch Sky TV. This enables users to do other consumptions of media not just play games. This would appeal to
teenagers as they might like to listen to music while there playing games or even watch Sky TV instead of playing
games.
• Customization – This enables people to change the appearance of the way the Xbox looks, as you can buy
faceplates of a certain game and clip it to the front of your Xbox. This would appeal to the target audience as they
can make the Xbox there own and have the own unique faceplate .
• Wireless – There are several different wireless aspects for the Xbox; Controller, Steering Wheel and WIFI. With the
controller and steering wheel. This enables players to play the game from a further distance from the console as they
do not have any wires connecting to the console. WIFI allows players to play in any room in a house if they have a
router this will appeal to players as they don’t have to be close to the router, they could play in a quite room.
• Interactive/Kinect– This is an interactive add on which allows players to play interactively with no controller. This
would appeal to a younger audience as they would enjoy to be active and interact with games and most of the games
are for a more younger audience, however there are also sport and fitness games which would be appeal to a more
older audience as they could keep fit by doing activities from the game instead of going to the gym.

number one is Halo 3 .This would mainly appeal to teenagers as they would like competitive shooting games and
they are able to play online against people. At number two is call of duty modern warfare 2, this would also appeal
to teenagers as it is a competitive shooting game and they are able to play online against other people. At number 3
is gears of war which would also appeal to teenagers as it’s a competitive shooting game and they can role play as
characters. At number 4 is Gears of war 2 appeals to teenagers as it’s a competitive shooting game and role playing.
At number 5 is grand theft auto which would appeal to teenagers as it’s a role playing game in life situations and you
get to chose the outcome and also you can play this game online.

into games more by doing various movements and exercises. However this is also for older people as they have

• Fitness – This enables players to keep fit as the are interacting with the game and also by introducing the Wii Fit
which allows players to do various exercise and routines on an exercise mat. This would appeal to an older
audience from around 13-40 year olds as this game is aimed towards adults more then young children .

appeals to them as the can keep themselves occupied so they don’t get bored.

This would appeal to children of the age 7- 12 year olds, as it allows them to interact with the game more as they

• Touchscreen – This enables players to interact with the game as the screen is touchscreen. This would appeal to a
younger audience of around 6-10 year olds as they can fill interact with the game as they have to use a special pen
or your finger to play the game.
• SD memory card – This enables player to backup their saved games as they can use the SD memory card and put
it into the computer where they can back up their game saves if they don’t have enough space for all there games
