SONY MADE A

CAR
 Currently, the car market is one of the most important in the world, since it is very profitable
and generates money for companies. This is the case of the Japanese company Sony,
which chose to enter the automotive world, and how did it do it? Manufacturing an electric
car, being an invasion for the automotive industry since its characteristics are of high quality.
 This exhibition aims to explain how Sony achieved this innovation and manufacturing
as well as a brief explanation of its characteristics of this mobile car.
BACKGROUND
 Founded in Japan, the company has grown from humble roots to a
multinational giant
 Kazuo Hirai, who joined the company in 1984 and worked his way up
through its media and consumer electronics divisions, became its
president and CEO in 2012.
 Sony was founded after World War II in 1946 in Tokyo under the name Tokyo
Telecommunications Engineering Corp. by Masaru Ibuka and Akio Morita
 The company continued to grow in the 1970s, when it expanded into Spain and
France in 1973. German operations were started in 1986.
THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK
 The Japanese electronics manufacturer works in conjunction with several automakers
such as Germany's Benteler and Canada's Magna
DEVELOPING.
 In one of the strangest moves in recent years, Sony unveiled its own concept car at its press
conference.
 Of course, it is an electric car and it has sensors and displays everywhere. In addition, it has
artificial intelligence, telecommunications and cloud software from Sony.
 In total there are 33 sensors, including CMOS and ToF to maintain constant monitoring. Sony
ensures that it not only has the ability to recognize objects and people from the outside, but
also from the inside.
 Although the car carries the Sony brand, its platform (which they claim is a newly designed
EV) was manufactured by the company Magma, which could be used in the future by other
vehicles such as an SUV.
 The vehicle, with a similar design to the Tesla Model 3, has a total length of 4.8
meters, a height of 1.45 meters, a width of 1.9 meters and a weight of 2,350
kilograms.
 The Vision-S can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.8 seconds and reach a top
speed of 240 km / h.
RESUMEN
 The Sony Vision S car shows the advancement of technology with this sensor with 33
different sensors inside and outside the car, in addition to having several panoramic
cameras.
CONCLUSION
 In conclusion, the Sony Vision S electric car showcases the company's varied
electronic technology.
