What is a verb?
A verb is a word or group of words that
expresses an action (such as eat), an
event (such as happen) or a state (such
as exist)

Un verbo es una palabra o grupo de palabras que expresan una acción (comer), un
evento (algo o alguien que ocurre) o un estado (como existir)

CAN
(Affirmative)
The word “can” is used to express the ability to do
something, that something is possible or for something
to happen

Examples
Tigers can run fast.

She can speak Chinese.

The stadium can hold thousands of people.

Bees can fly!

CAN’T (cannot)
(Negative)
Can’t (cannot)  is used to express that you don’t have the
ability or to say that something is not possible.

Examples
Foxes can’t fly.

Brenda can’t eat fish, she is allergic.

You can’t cheat on a test. You will get


suspended. La palabra “can’t” es la forma negativa
de “can”. Expresa la falta de habilidad
You can’t eat inside the classroom. para realizar una acción o que algo no
es posible.
