MACHINE LEARNING

Variable 1 – Quality
• Based on the workforce employed, we can train the Machine to decide the Training time per worker and their
Average salary.
• The machine can analyse the past period data and set the number of units to be Inspected out of the total
production lot.
• It can also suggest a suitable amount to be Invested in Systems Technology for the required product Quality.

Variable 2 – Distribution
• Based on our Sales and Inventory data, the Machine can help us in the allocation of the different category bikes at
each of the 3 Points of Sales, namely Bike Shops, Sports Stores & Department Stores.
• The decision on the Retail Margin and the Extra Support to be offered to the Retailers can also be taken by the
Machine.
Variable 3 – Price
• Taking into account each of our Bike category records in the Competitive landscape, the Machine can suggest the
Optimum Price to be set for each bike.

• Also, considering the Safety Stock and Production schedule in the different stages of the Product Life Cycle, the
Machine can recommend changes that should be made in the Price as time progresses.

Variable 4 – Manufacturing Capacity Usage

• Based on our Plant capacity, product demand and Supply chain lead time, the Machine can decide on the Minimum
usage of the Plant capacity that should be achieved at any given time.

• This decision will assist in planning out the other activities like Manpower training, Plant maintenance, etc. so as to
reduce Idle Time.
