 Installation of Systec autoclaves

 Autoclave must be levelled by using a bubble level. Autoclave is

equipped with adjustable legs.
 Check that electrical connection is correct (Voltage, Amps,
Frequency)
 Necessary connections depends on the model and accessories

- Electricity power cord

- Tap water flexible hose, pressure > 2 bar
- De-mineralized water flexible hose, pressure > 0 bar, conductivity
< 15
uS/cm
- Drain flexible hose, e.g. floor drain
- Compressed air flexible hose, pressure > 2 bar, dirt- and oil-
free air

 Installation of Systec autoclaves

 Making sure that connections are tighten properly and quality of

supplies are according to the manufacturer requests

 Open the taps carefully and check that there are no leaks

 Switch on the power from tha main power switch (V-models:
located on the right side of the unit, D-models: located on the
bottom – right side of the unit)

 After loading the program and filling up the built-in compressed

air supply the unit is ready and door can be opened by pressing
the OPEN button

 Operation of Systec autoclaves

 Sterilization program can be selected by using arrow keys

 After selecting program, settings can be made checked through

the MENU (MENU >> View parameters >>)

 All actions are confirmed by pressing SET key and cancelled

without confirming by pressing EXIT key.

 Sterilization temperature and time can be changed through the

MENU (MENU >> Change parameters >> code 1000)

 Items to be sterilized can be load to wire mesh baskets

 Sterilize only one type of load per cycle – instruments, liquids

and waste have to be sterilized SEPARATELY

 Program list:
- 1-3 Instruments
- 4-5 Waste bags
- 6-7 Liquid waste
- 8-11 Liquids
- 12 Cleaning

 Operation of Systec autoclaves

 Autoclave is monitoring sterilization process during the entire

process and will automatically detect possible error situations

 When the process is successfully done, there will be a message

CYCLE ENDED! on the display

 If autoclave detect an error, e.g. “High Temp” or “Low gen. water”,

find out the cause for this situation

 Reset the error message as follows:

- Press EXIT
- Set code 1000
- Press SET key

 Maintenance of Systec autoclaves

 Autoclave needs annual service

 Regular maintenance includes the following check points:

- See attached separate service report

 Only spare part which is necessary to change annually is sterile

air filter in compressed air line (inside the housing of autoclave)

 If necessary change:
- Door gasket
- Pt100 temperature sensor
- Water, drain or air hoses

select suitable program,

load and pack items properly,
clean autoclave periodically,
make annual service,
control performance by
using indicators
