› Sustain motivation of employees through
participation and develop belief in ECPL's Safety
Philosophy that "All injuries can be prevented".

› Identification/Rectification of work place hazards


and continuous improvement in procedures.

› Educate and encourage safe work practices.

› Solicit feedback from employees for 'On-the-Job'


safety concerns. However, 'Off-the-Job' concerns
can also be noted.
› To serve as a forum for communication of
information relating to Company's Safety,
Environment & Industrial Hygiene Program.

› Responsible for ensuring compliance with the
role of 'D' Level Committee.

› Works closely with Safety Captain/Vice Captain to


achieve desired objectives.

› Issues minutes of meeting on prescribed format


& sends copies to all concerned.

› Follows-up the recommendations which can be


done within the Section or with minor support of
other Sections.
› Recommendation pertaining to other areas to be
sent to Section Head/Unit Manager for review
before issuance.

› Responsible for ensuring compliance
with the role of 'D' Level Committee.
› Develop agenda for each meeting in
consultation with Safety Sponsor.
› Ensures that mandatory safety talks
are held.
› Updates safety statistics board.

› Participate in each meeting to asses
Quality of meeting.
› Ensures proper feed back is provided on
the issues raised in previous meeting.
› Reviews recommendations generated
before getting concurrence of relevant
interfaces for compliance.
› Ensure that all the recommendations
which require multiple teams are routed to
'B' Level
