Sustainable Development Scenario (SDS)
Define future outcomes and the way on how it can
be achieved
• An early peak and rapid subsequent reductions in
emissions, in line with the Paris Agreement (Sustainable
Development Goal [SDG] 13).
• Universal access to modern energy by 2030, including
electricity and clean cooking (SDG 7).
• A dramatic reduction in energy-related air pollution and
the associated impacts on public health (SDG 3.91).
Reduce deaths and illnesses from hazardous chemicals and air,
