HISTORY OF MRF
• MRF (madras rubber factory) , it was started in the year 1946 by K M MAMMEN as a small toy
balloon unit and also manufacturing of rubber products, such as tyres, tubes, flaps, tread rubber
and conveyor belt
• In 1964 it established an overseas office at Beirut, Lebanon to tap the export market
• In 1989 the company collaborated with Hasbro international USA, the worlds largest toy maker
• Currently MRF exports tyres to over 65 countries including America, Europe, middle east,
japan, and pacific region.
RISE AND FALL OF MRF
• On April 27, 1993, the company's share closed at Rs 11 compared to the current price of Rs
54,488 on base. the scrip hit its lifetime high of Rs 81,423 on April 30, 2018.
