FOUR OPTIONS OF LEARNING

MODALITIES THAT LEARNERS MAY
CHOOSE TO ENROLL
 S.Y. 2020 – 2021
I. BLENDED LEARNING: Combination of Face to face learning and Distance Learning
II. ONLINE DISTANCE LEARNING: Books and Online/Offline Learning Platform shall be
provided (Students shall rely most of the time on ONLINE LEARNING PLATFORM)
III. MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING: Books, Modules and Online/Offline Platform shall be
provided (Students shall rely most of the time on PRINTED or OFFLINE MODULES
rather than ONLINE LEARNING PLATFORM)
IV. HOMESCHOOL: Learning shall be learner initiative and under the management of
parents or tutors. Books, Printed or Offline Modules and Online/Offline Learning
Platform shall be provided. Teacher assistance shall be provided regularly at given
schedule

DEFINITIONS:
I. BLENDED LEARNING: Combination of Face to face learning and Online Distance
Learning
II. ONLINE DISTANCE LEARNING: Learners shall do the learning activities apart from the
physical presence of the teachers. Learning shall take place outside the school
premises. Teaching-Learning sessions shall be conducted mainly through ONLINE.
III. MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING: Learners shall do the learning activities apart from
the physical presence of the teachers. Learning shall take place outside the school
premises. Learning shall be delivered mainly through PRINTED or OFFLINE MODULES.
IV. HOMESCHOOL: Learning shall be self-initiative and under the management of parents
or tutors. Books, Printed or Offline Modules and Online/Offline Learning Platform shall
be provided. Teacher assistance shall be provided regularly at given schedule.

Face to Face Classes: Tuesday and Thursday Only (if Allowed)
AM SESSION: 7:30 AM to 12:00 NN PM SESSION: 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Grouping (Maximum number of students allowed in a classroom shall be observed)
Pre-Elementary: 10 to 15 pupils per Session
Elementary to High School: 15 to 20 per Session
Distance Learning (Online or Modular)
Learners shall do the learning activities apart from the physical presence of the teacher.

Modular Distance Learning

Students will do self-learning activities under the guidance of parents or
tutors. Learners shall do the learning activities apart from the physical presence of
the teacher.

Facilitation of Learning by Teachers (Through Cellphone or Online)
8AM to 11AM: AM Session
1PM to 3PM: PM Session
Learning Materials: Books, Modules and Online and Offline Platform

IV. HOMESCHOOL
Monday to Friday
Students will do self-learning activities under the supervision and facilitation of parents or
tutors.

Features:
A. Learning process will be facilitated by parents or tutors
B. Assistance shall be provided and shall be scheduled on regular basis.
C. Formative Assessments in the books, modules or online/offline platform shall be kept and
submitted to adviser.
D. Summative Assessments and Periodic Tests shall be given by the school at given schedule
E. Official Grades shall be based on the assessments done by the school.
