What is stress?
• Psychologically, stress is a feeling of pressure and emotional strain. It is known as a
psychological pain.
• biological context, stress is a mental, emotional and physical factor that causes bodily or
mental tensions
Difference between the good and bad stress

Good stress
•Good stress or what psychologists refers to as “eustress” is the type of stress we feel
when we fell exited or in simple stress that beneficial and motivating.

• Bad stress or distress, is the stress that cause anxiety and even
health problems.

Symptoms of Negative Stress

• Low energy.

• Headaches.

• Upset stomach, including diarrhea, constipation, and nausea.

• Aches, pains, and tense muscles.

• Chest pain and rapid heartbeat.

Ways of reducing it

Conclusion

• Stress is an unavoidable reality of life in today’s world. You can


not beat it entirely and you can not live without it. However,
stress can be comforted and reduced only if we understand
ourselves better, analyze the behavior and identify the stressors.
The stress management techniques will work if we are not honest
with ourselves and adapt to the techniques in their fullest spirit.
