Block Scheduling
• In the sub-topic of this chapter, this topic will discuss about block scheduling that are very
important for students to manage time in the classroom. This topic will also explain the
types of block scheduling, the advantages, problems and so on.
• Block scheduling is a type of the schedule in which students have fewer classes for longer
periods of time.
TYPES OF BLOCK SCHEDULING
• Students take four courses in which it's around 90 minutes in length, every day for
the first semester and take four different courses every day for the second
semester.
• Students take at least three to four courses in which it's around 90-120 minutes in
length, per day all year long on alternating days resulting in a full six or eight
courses per year.
AB BLOCK SCHEDULE
• The studens will miss at least 2 days worth of material when they are absent.
• Extended class periods where the students are expected to sit still longer
• As the conclusion, making the most of classroom time management contains several sub-topics
such as the amount of school time that is actually available for teaching and learning, yet then it
described three strategies for increasing students’ academic learning time and also the use of block
