Pathao is the fastest growing tech startup in Bangladesh.
Founded in 2015.
It has become the leading ride-sharing platform in Bangladesh.
Pathao valued over $100 million & recently they received $12 million
investment from Go-JEK.
Pathao has recently launched ride sharing service in Nepal.
It operates services in three cities of Bangladesh : Dhaka, Chittagong &
Sylhet.

HOW DOES IT WORKS?
Pathao provides delivery services and logistics support by connecting
the online stores with their customers.
The app uses a mobile-friendly interface: web, computer, mobile &
24-hour customer services.
They uses motorbikes & bicycles for most of their deliveries.
It works through the official app available in both Android & iOS
platforms.
There is convenience of selecting the exact location gives an added
benefit to the customer.

– It will promote energy efficiency that will save pathao.

3. Pathao Smoothie: Pathao is very popular towards young generation
but not middle and old people not prefer it because it is not safer for
them.
– This prevent aggressive local and global competition as it is creating a
new segment that other competitors is not offering.
4. Research and development:
- Pathao should develop a research and development team that will find
cost effective and faster way of delivery through advance technology that
can be possibilities on Drone delivery or robot delivery.
- Pathao also can take part of flying car to serve its customers.
HOW PATHAO BECOME SUCCESSFUL?
They started as a delivery services in 2015 with their own
convoy of motorcycles and cycles.
But in mid-2016 they decided to shift its business
operation from deliver services to Ride Sharing App
Sign up 100,000 drivers & 1 million users across the
country.
Pathao follows “One App for All” model.
HOW THEY STAY ONE STEP AHEAD FROM THE
COMPETITOR?
Pathao recently done something brilliant to promote their
services in the market.
It sponsored Dhaka Dynamites along with Beximco for last
year’s season of BPL for the t-shirt category.
They also promoted their food delivery service with their
recent commercial starring three players of Dynamites- Zazai,
Birch and our very own Shakib Al Hasan.
