Verb to do

■ In past tense (sudah berlaku):

do – did
Eg:
1) Yesterday, she did her homework.
2) Last week, they did their task at school.
How to answer a short question
(involving ‘did’) ?
■ Yes, __(s)___ did. (Untuk jawab YA).
■ No, ___(s)____ didn’t. (Untuk jawab TIDAK)
S: Subject
E.g:
Yesterday, Marlisa had her first monthly test, she woke up at 8.ooam. After that, she
took her bath. Then, she had breakfast with her parents.
Question: Did Marlisa wake up at 8.00 am yesterday? - Yes, she did. (Ya/Betul)
Question: Did Marlisa wake up at 10.00am yesterday?- No, she didn’t. (Tidak/Salah)
Did I? Yes, I did. No, I didn't.

Did you? Yes, you did. No, you didn't.

Did he? Yes, he did. No, he didn't.

Did she? Yes, she did. No, she didn't.

Did it? Yes, it did. No, it didn't.

Did we? Yes, we did. No, we didn't.

Did you? Yes, you did. No, you didn't.

Yes, they did. No, they didn’t.
