EVIDENCE: NOT

SO DIFFERENT
IN THE END

NEURAL
NEURAL CONNECTIONS
CONNECTIONS
They have more neural connections
in the brain, which is larger and has
more white matter.
There is a greater predominance of
the left brain hemisphere.
They have more connections between
the right and left hemispheres of the
brain.
The brain is usually denser and has
more gray matter.
The use of the right and left
hemispheres is balanced.
BODY TEMPERATURE
Man
Because they have more muscle
mass, their temperature is more
balanced throughout the body.

Woman
They maintain their core body
temperature more effectively.
PHYSICAL
One of the big differences is the physical
ones, from the primary sexual attributes
(sexual organs) to the secondary ones
(hair, muscle mass, height, etc.).
Although the sexual attributes are not
100% binary, the vast majority of
individuals of the human species have
male or female sexual organs in
correspondence with their genetic load.
BIG DIFFERENCES AT THE
BRAIN LEVEL
Women and men have different brain anatomy, but equal
intelligence. The latest scientific studies reflect small
differences in language or spatial processing. In all
languages there are different words for men and women,
but it is unusual to stop and think about something so
obvious. Of course, if you relate this gender duality in
language to the fact that the biggest difference between
men and women has been found to be their sense of
sexual identity, then the issue becomes even more
striking. And if these differences are related to
intelligence, the controversy usually arises.
SIMILARITIES
Men don't show their feelings and women are
very sensitive. Much of society has assumed
gender stereotypes like these, but research has
shown that both sexes have more similarities
than differences: they coincide in 75% of their
psychological characteristics.

Scientists at several U.S. universities have

examined the results of 100 meta-analyses
(studies that analyze the findings of various
research in the same area) of gender differences.
In total, the number of participants in the
studies amounts to 12 million people.
LEADERSHIP
Men and women in leadership
positions are more alike than different.
This is one of the main conclusions of a
research from the University of
Antwerp (Belgium) on the personality
of women and men in positions of high
responsibility.
The researchers, who had academics at
several universities in association with
the Hudson R&D department, analyzed
the personality profiles of more than
500 leaders at the top of their
organizations.
