Change is crucial for any business. For change it is important to adopt. During this time when the world comes
to a standstill, those who has acted fast and adopted to the change are the ones who will be surviving and
progressing with their venture in the future. Technology is one of the fundamental elements that everyone had
to gain expertise and improvise into their business during this hibernation period. Some way or the other,
everyone has taken the shelter of technology to run their business, ventures or even house hold. Many curtail
business like medical advice has also adopted technology by introducing telemedicine up to a certain extend.
Events and tourism are industries that has been largely affected by Covid-19 and they have been in much
harder constrain than others without any clear guidelines as to when can they actually take place in the near
future. A very important event as Glastonbury which usually hosts more than 135,000 people per day was to
celebrate their 150th anniversary had to cancel their festival this year due to the virus. Unfortunately, it was very
difficult for them to actually adopt the more technologically advance route due Glastonbury’s speciality being
the experience of the artist that general public usually see in Television or in social media and their presence.
But there are many events that has physically been cancelled but they have adopted the virtual route, including
the biggest event of Microsoft that has gone virtual. Many political events from different political heads of the
world has been conducting virtual events. So are many trade shows like the Art Basel, the modern and
contemporary art fair in Germany.
