INTRODUCTION (Abstract)

 We can find many duties and responsibilities in Quran

and Sunnah for the Man and Women in character
building of their children.
Unfortunately, due to dire modernization and
globalization, these responsibilities are not being
adhered to .
Now, every person is busy with his or her own concern.
People are somewhat deviating from the rules given by
the greatest religion Islam.
We should comply with the orders given by Allah and
His Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H)
PARENTS’ EDUCATION
Parents should be educated, specially mother because
educated mother will lead to an educated family.
Because children get motivation ultimately from
parents.
The father of a child should provide the mother with
the necessary material for the child's growth and
survival .
GOOD ENVIRONMENT
Parents should provide good environment from the
start for the good nourishment of the children.
Because the first learning school for the children is
their home.
Do taaleem daily.
MOTIVATION

Parents should motivate their children rather than

punishing them because love is the most powerful
thing in the world.
Motivation comes from inside. It’s the duty of the
parents that they should shape the thoughts of their
children right from the childhoods according to the
regulations given by Allah and Prophet(P.B.U.H)
ISLAMIC TEACHINGS
Parents should teach islamic teachings to their
children from their childhood for making a good and
strong base of their children.
CHILDREN’S COMPANY
Parents should take care of the company of their
children because bad friends can spoil the personality
of the children.
BEST EDUCATION
Education is very important thing for making a
developed and educated generation. Parents should
provide best education to their children, so that they
can compete well with other nations.

Character building
character- building is of concern to many disciplines:
psychology, sociology, social anthropology- and
religion regards it as its central issue. "Character"
could be taken to mean that coherent pattern of
thoughts, habits and conduct which imparts an
element of unity, continuity and consistency to human
behavior.
Tazkia
Tazkiya means literally the purification or the
cleansing of all those things which are unwholesome
and unwelcome and unwanted. At the same time it
endows the human being with all those things which
are essential for growth and develop- ment, for
blossoming and flowering.
Tazkia of a person
The tazkiya of a person would mean the developing of
his character, his thought, his behavior; it would mean
the moulding of his entire flow of actions to free them
from those evils, those unwholesome traits which are
obnoxious, un- desirable in the eyes of Allah, and to
endow them with all those virtues which Allah wants
to flourish in human life. Tazkiya, one might say, is a
"short-hand" word for the entire concept of character-
building.
Knowledge
Principle of character-building is knowledge. But
knowledge on its own is not sufficient: it is definitely
essential but not a sufficient source for character-
building.
Teach social responsibilities
Muslims for various aspects of a Muslim's life. They
cover the broad spectrum of personal moral conduct
of a Muslim as well as his social responsibilities.
God-Consciousness:
The most honorable among you in the sight of God is
the one who is most God-conscious. (49:13)

Humility, modesty, control of passions and desires,
truthfulness, integrity, patience, steadfastness, and
fulfilling one's promises are moral values that are
emphasized again and again in the Quran
And God loves those who are firm and steadfast.
(3:146)
Social responsibility:
Teachings of Islam concerning social
responsibilities are based on kindness and
consideration of others. Since a broad injunction to
be kind is likely to be ignored in specific situations,
Parents
Respect and care for parents is very much stressed in
the Islamic teaching and is a very important part of a
Muslim's expression of faith
Other Relatives:

And render to the relatives their due rights, as (also) to

those in need, and to the traveler; and do not squander
your wealth in the manner of a spendthrift.
Neighbor:
The Prophet (PBUH) has said:
He is not a believer who eats his fill when his neighbor
beside him is hungry.
He does not believe whose neighbors are not safe from
his injurious conduct.
