Steps for making introductions and greetings
in English

 Speaker A:

Background information
 Bogota( 波哥大 )[′bəugətə]: capital and largest city

 Tehran (or Teheran) [teə′ræn /-′rɑ:n] is the capital
and largest city of Iran, and the administrative cent
er of Tehran Province. Tehran is famous for its nu
merous ski resorts on the Alborz slopes, large mus
eums, art centers, and palace complexes. Tehran i
s the largest city in the Middle East and is the mos
t populated city in South Western Asia with a popul
ation of 7,404,515 and approximately 15 million in
Greater Tehran.
 Brussels [′brʌslz]: is the capital of Belgium and the
administrative centre of the European Union. This
has earned the city the title of the Capital of Europ
e. Brussels has been given its character by the co
existence of French and Flemish culture, and it is
nowadays home to nationalities around the world,
adding a cosmopolitan flavour to its atmosphere. T
he vibrant atmosphere of Brussels is further enhan
ced by picturesque medieval streets, lively square
s, beautiful boulevards, impressive monuments, sp
acious parks, cosy cafés, interesting restaurants a
nd an active cultural life.
 Munich [′mju:nik]: is the capital city of Bavari
a, Germany. It is the third largest city in Ger
many, after Berlin and Hamburg. There are
approximately 1.35 million inhabitants within
Munich. The city's motto is "München mag D
ich" ("Munich Likes You"), before 2006, it wa
s "Weltstadt mit Herz" (world city with heart)
 Kuala Lumpur [′kwɑ:lə ′lumpuə]: often abbre
viated as K.L. is the capital and the largest c
ity of Malaysia [mə′leiʒə].
 Harare [hə’rɑ:rei]: Harare (before 1982 know
n as Salisbury) is the largest city and capital
of Zimbabwe. 哈拉雷 ( 津巴布韦首都 )( 旧称
索尔兹伯里 )
 Amman /ɑ:′mɑ:n/ is the capital and largest ci
ty of Jordan. It is the country's political, cultu
ral and commercial centre and one of the ol
dest continuously inhabited cities in the worl

 Jordan(/dʒɔ:dən/) is a kingdom on the East
Bank of the River Jordan.
 New Delhi is the capital city of India.
 Hawaii [hɑ:’waii:] is the newest of the 50 US states (August
21, 1959), and is the only U.S. state made up entirely of isl
ands. It is the northernmost island group in Polynesia( 中太
平洋岛群 ), occupying most of an archipelago in the central
Pacific Ocean, southwest of the continental United States,
southeast of Japan, and northeast of Australia. Hawaii’s na
tural and diverse scenery, warm tropical climate, abundanc
