BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN TOURISM MANAGEMENT 
1. Equip the students with theoretical knowledge and skills in Tourism
Management and national competency in tour guiding and other related areas.
2. Conduct researches in Tourism Management for suitable utilization and
commercialization that will contribute to socio-economic upliftment of the
community.
3. Provide the community with gender sensitive tourism activities and other related
reas through sustainable extension services.
4. Produce God-fearing, morally upright, responsible, service oriented and
environment friendly leader in hospitality industry.

COUR S E D ES C RIP TION

This course describes the skills, knowledge and performance outcomes required to develop the
ability of students to become professionals in their field by understanding the ideas of improving
one’s personality and ways on how they are going to be valued in the business industry by means
of presenting their ideas like company meetings, professional networking, interviews and
thorough proposals of services considering the proper collaboration to their associates and
portraying professional business ethics. It also teaches writing skills and emphasizes in verbal
communication and preparation of plans that requires them to research career options and
company potentially and stability to develop a strong and effective career pathway.
CLASSROOM GUIDELINES/
POLICIES
Regular attendance and punctuality in all classes are important obligations of the
students.
1. All students are required to wear the prescribed uniform and school ID.
2. Students are obliged to observe the code of conduct and discipline contained
in the Student Handbook.
3. Cell phones should be shut-off during class hours.
4. Students under the influence of liquor are not allowed inside the school
compound.
5. Plagiarism and vandalism are strictly prohibited and punishable.
