OBJECTIVE
• How much concentration of hazardous heavy metal
ions can Tithonia Diversyfolia biomass adsorb in
aqueous solutions?
THEORETICAL
FRAMEWORK
• Sunflower (Tithonia diversyfolia) stalks

INPUT
• Preparation of sunflower bioadsorbent
• Preparation of aqueous solutions
• Preparation of sample solutions
PROCESS • Testing of the adsorption process

• Reduction of the concentration of the heavy metal in the

compound solution
OUTPUT
SCOPE AND DELIMITATION
• This study will focus on adsorption of heavy metals from
aqueous solution using the stalk of wild sunflower.

• The study consist of different parameters that are consider .

• The selection of raw material is limited only in Cordillera

Region.

• The study covers only on proving that the sunflower

biosoadsorbent can lessen the amount of heavy metals in the
aqueous solution.
