BACKGROUND

• Born and raised in Northern Ontario

• Moved to Southern Ontario to pursue post-
secondary education
• Bachelor of Arts – York University
• Early Childhood Educator Certification – GBC
• Currently completing my Masters of Science in
Education at Medaille College
 PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

• Worked as an Early Childhood Educator for George Brown College for 10 years
• Ran a home childcare business for 6 years while my children were young
• Have been working as a Registered Early Childhood Educator in Full Day Kindergarten for WCDSB for 8 years
 In both my professional and academic careers, I have come to
