Homosexuality is a romantic and erotic or sexual attraction or behavior between
members or people of the same sex or gender. Nowadays, the increasing number of

However, despite a society that is moving forward in attitude towards homosexuality,

As Stated by Foucault (1986), the lives of many historical figures are believed to
have included love and sexual relationships with people of their own sex.
On the contrary, since time became proof for modernization, the arousing
homosexual relationship became threat to church. They believe that marriage is a
sacred one and it is only given to a boy and a girl.
In the Philippines, homosexual relationship became issue since an artist named Aiza
Siguera confirmed to be a lesbian and were legally married to Liza Dino. The
continuous raging of homosexual relationship is observable while complete
acceptance with homosexual in the Philippines is still a long way ahead, their presence
is becoming more and more visible in the society (Martin, 2013).

well as because they are frequent expose to media and internet. However,

Conclusions
▰ Based on the results related to personal aspect, most respondents favor the
homosexual relationships. Likewise, on social related aspect, most respondents
believe it is essential to pay attention to and value the people involved in a
homosexual relationships in our society. However, based on the results shown on
religious perception, the respondents also disagree with homosexual relationships
as they agree with the citations from the bible. Since, all of the respondents are
Christians and manifested adherence to the statements in the bible, they disagree
with homosexual relationships. However, at the same time show respect to the
persons who are involved in homosexual relationships as shown in the results.

21
Recommendations
▰ It is recommended that each decision should be raised solely because of the possibility
that the results toward homosexual relationships and those who are in favor with what
the Bible says might create conflicts.
▰ The profile of the respondents as to gender can be correlated to their perceptions
regarding homosexual relationships.
▰ Future researchers may also use purposive sampling targeting respondents who are
homosexuals, finding out their perceptions to homosexual relationship in terms of
religious aspect.
