result or values that corresponds to the Measures of Position to
be solved whether if it is Quartile, Decile and Percentile. The
question/problem will be flashed on the board.
 If the answer or the result value is in your group you will shout and say
“AKO YAN”. But, the twist in this game is, your group must be sure of
your answer. Because some of the values that you have is not the exact
answer from the given problem. If your group got the correct answer you
will earn a point but if your answer is wrong, you will get a negative
point.
You only have 1 minute to answer the question.

STEPS IN SOLVING MEASURES OF POSITION:
1. Arrange the following data in ascending order.
2. Use the formula according on what position to be solved.
3. Use Linear Interpolation to find the exact value or data.
4. Interpret the result.
 LINEAR INTERPOLATION

• It is used to find the exact value if the answer has a

decimal point.
 STEPS IN LINEAR INTERPOLATION:

1. Subtract the data to the value next to it.

2. Multiply the result by the decimal part obtained from the solution to the first step.
3. Add the result in step 2 to the smaller value/number that you used to find the
difference in step 1.
 USE LINEAR INTERPOLATION

 INTERPRETATION:

The sentence to be used in interpreting the data or the

result is as is. What you just have to do class is to
substitute the value or the result that you obtained to other
problems that you will encounter. Then for you not to be
confused, Encircle the percentage or the position and
Box the result.

E :
For your group activity, you are going to answer the given problems
that I will flashed on the board. This activity is what we call
“COMPLETE ME”. Your group will be given a Cross Quantile Puzzle
to complete. Each unblacken box in your puzzle board composed of
numbers to specify your answer from the problems. You can get the
numbers inside the box that corresponds to the values you get or simply
the answer. You must have 1 representative each group who will run to get
the numbers on the box. You have 5 minutes for Across part of the puzzle
and another 5minutes for the Down part of the puzzle:
