Major Art Forms
Theatre
a collaborative form of fine art that uses live performers,
typically actors or actresses, to present the experience of a
real or imagined event before a live audience in a specific
place, often a stage.
Drawing
A form of visual art in which a person uses various drawing instrument to mark
paper or another two-dimensional medium.
Dance
A performing art form consisting of purposefully selected
sequences of human movement.
Film
a series of still images that, when shown on a screen,
create the illusion of moving images.
Music
an art form and cultural activity whose medium is
sound organized in time.
Literature
refers to writing considered to have artistic credit.
Architecture
the art and science of designing buildings and (some)
non building structures
