Aim and Objective

To study the working principle of plant watering system.

To study IoT technology.
To create an IoT based automated watering mechanism which turns the pump motor ON and OFF
on detecting the moisture content and sufficient water level and pass data through IoT platform.
To design a circuit and create a programming code using the microcontroller.
Introduction

Water resource is one of the most important natural resource problem to be paid more attention in
the world in these days.
As many people are facing a lot of problem watering the plants in the garden, especially when they
away from home.
 This thesis presents an IoT based plant watering system, which can reduce water consumption,
soil erosion and nutrient leaching.

System Analysis

This system include hardware design and software development.

This system is containing four main components; NodeMCU, DHT11, soil moisture sensor and
Blynk application.
Sensors measure the required parameters and send the sensor values to microcontroller.
And then, microcontroller sends the sensor value to user through IoT planform.
