● The Mn doped TiO2 (10%) nanoparticles was synthesized with different
pH=6,8,10 by Co-precipitation method. The prepared Mn doped TiO 2 nano
particles were subjected to analytical techniques for material confirmation.
● The XRD pattern revealed the tetragonal structure of the sample, and the
crystalline size for the Mn doped TiO2 of pH=6 is about 6.18 nm whereas the size
increases to 6.20 nm and 6.50 nm for pH=8,10 respectively.
● The optical absorption spectra showed red shift in the Mn doped TiO 2
nanoparticles when comparing it with the pure TiO2 nanoparticles. The band
gap of Mn doped TiO2 (10%) nanoparticles of pH=6,8,10 was about
4.05 eV, 4.06eV and 4.03eV respectively.
● The antimicrobial activity shows that the increase in pH of TiO₂ increases the
antifungal activity.
