GERUNDS
• A gerund is a noun formed from a verb, we use them
after verbs for like or dislike, and after prepositions.
• The gerund looks exactly the same as a present
participle, but the gerund always has the same
function as a noun (although it looks like a verb).
Example: He likes playing tennis.
(verb + gerund)
she hates going skydiving
( verb + gerund)
GERUNDS
After prepositions : IN – INTO – AT (without-of)
