in apartment complexes where municipal
disposal systems are not available

EN17081344
2
Background

 The worldwide population is increasing rapidly especially in urban

areas.

 Nowadays quickly build apartments plentiful of urban areas because

the land area is not enough.

 Untreated wastewater has a great impact on the environment and

human health.

 Urban wastewater management.

3
Aim of the research project

 Study of sewerage and waste water disposal system in apartment complexes.

4
Objectives

 To design a septic tank for the selected apartment (assume the land area is enough)

 To find out the working capacity of septic tank.

 To compare the water quality of disposal waste water.

 To identify the waste water disposal technology in selected apartment

Proposed methodology

 Design a septic tank and soakage

 We will calculate the average daily flow of black water, average daily flow of grey water

 Study the wastewater treatment plant

 How they guaranty with the system.
 What kind of pre arrangements for suddenly break down the system.
 How often maintenance this system.
 What kind of filters they used.
 System spare parts are easily find out or not.

Expected outcomes

How they maintenances the system and

how they insure that system is does not
breakdown.

Treatment plant I will study these

requirements can be satisfy doing these
things well.

I hope to give a system, it does not

problem for resident at any time.
