SOLID INSULATORS

Porcelain
Porcelain electrical insulators are most often used to
provide non-conductive bridges between electronic
components, however, they are also installed into
control boards and boxes as a heat sink
PROPERTIES (PORCELAIN )

• Di-electric Strength-4–10 kV/mm
• Porcelain is highly unlikely to damage due to natural causes such as very
high – or low temperature. It can withstand high quantities of wear and tear.
• Tensile Strength- 45MPa (without calcination) & 73MPa (Calcinated)
• Price-11KV rated
