 Definition of System
 A system is a set of elements or functional block that are
connected together and produces an output in response to an
input signal.
 Example: An audio amplifier, TV
set, transmitter, receiver, etc.
 Any machine or engine are also
systems.
 Every system has one or more
inputs. It is called excitation.
 Every system has one or more
outputs. It is called response.
 The input and outputs of the
system are always signals.
