TYPES OF SHAREHOLDERS

• Ordinary shareholders ,their dividends fluctuate


annually depending on profits and available cash
reserves etc.
• Preference shareholders have more rights than ordinary
shareholders. Not only do they have preference on
liquidation, but they also have a fixed amount paid out
each year in dividends

• During the current year, the Company has issued 100%
right shares (i.e. 100 ordinary shares for every 100
ordinary shares held).
• The Directors subscribed to 94,840,941 right shares
amounting to Rs. 940,840,941 including the
unsubscribed portion which represented 493,617 shares
amounting to Rs. 4,936,173.

• The weighted average number of outstanding shares as at


June 30, 2017 and June 30, 2016 includes the effect of
bonus element in the rights issue. Diluted earnings per
share has not been presented as the Company does not
have any convertible instruments in issue as at June 30,
