Mathematics ADjusted Activities:
Localized and Indigenized to the
Level of Abilities of Non-achievers
Group
To implement this project the first thing
that we should do is to familiarize with
the environment, culture of the people in
the community. Consulting them to have
a deeper understanding of the lives of
the folks and for us to relate are lessons
based on the experience of our students.
Next is gathering all the local and
indigenous material that can be
use as instructional materials in
teaching mathematics. Ask other
schools about their ideas by
inviting a resource person and
apply it to our daily teaching.
Examples of Localization
 Examples used in lessons start with those in the
locality
 Names, situations, setting needed to give
context to test questions or problem-solving
exercises are those of the immediate
community
 Local materials are used as often as possible in
making instructional materials
 Local stories are used in the language learning
areas
