Verbs in the present and past tense

Present tense

 I am jumping.
This means I am doing it now.
Present tense
He is skipping.
He is doing it now.
Present tense
She is looking at a book.
She is doing it now.

We are laughing.
We are doing it now.
Past tense

I was jumping.
Or
I jumped.

I’ve done it. It’s gone or past.


Past tense

He was skipping
Or
He skipped.

He has done it. It has past.

She has done it. It has passed..

We were laughing.
Or
We laughed.

We have finished. It has past.


Future tense
I will jump.
Or
I am going to jump.

I have not done it yet. I am going


to do it in the future.

I am going to skip.
Or
I will skip.

I have not skipped yet. It’s going


to happen in the future.

I am going to look at the book.


Or
I will look at the book.

I am going to do it in the future.
