How to be overcomers

Rev. 12:11
And they overcame him by the
blood of the Lamb and by the word
of their testimony, and they did not
love their lives to the death.

and because of the message of their
witness.

they did not cling to life

But what does it say? "The word is near you,
in your mouth and in your heart"*
(that is, the word of faith which we preach):
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus
and believe in your heart
that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be save
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness,
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
(Rom. 10:8-10)
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always
obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now
much more in my absence, work out your own
salvation with fear and trembling;

II. Power of our testimony-
There will only be power when we
share the gospel
I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is
the power of God
for the salvation of everyone who believes:
first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.

Preach the Word; be prepared in season
and out of season; correct,
rebuke and encourage — with great patience
and careful instruction.

For the time will come when men
will not put up with sound doctrine.
Instead, to suit their own desires,
they will gather around them a great number of teachers
to say what their itching ears want to hear.

They will turn their ears away from the truth
and turn aside to myths. 5
But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship,
do the work of an evangelist,
discharge all the duties of your ministry.

1. Assured that Jesus is you Lord and Savior
2. Assured of your faith
3. Assured of what your doing is right in sight
of God
4. Assured that you are ready to meet the
Groom
