The Loyality
from a True Friend

Orientation

Once upon a time, there lived a wise King named Iskandaria and his son, Ali,
who lived in a big kingdom near a small village. All of the people there had known
the popularity of the kingdom. As the good behavior of the king, Ali grew up to be
a kind and loyal boy. He never felt proud of himself although he was a king’s son.
Complication

Since he was nine years old, Ali wanted to find a figure who he really hoped
to be his true friend, a friend who had a lot of kindness and honesty, not a friend
who was greedy so much. Everyday, many young boys came to the kingdom
who wanted to be Ali’s friend but Ali always refused them because of their bad
characters. Everyone who came to the kingdom had been given an egg by the
servant. Ali wanted to know how big the loyality that they had with that egg was.
When Ali allowed them to eat that egg, immediately they ate the egg because
they knew that it was produced from a golden goose. Everyone who ate it, they
would get a delight from that egg.
Although he still couldn’t find his true friend, Ali never gave up. One day,
Ali begged to his father in order that his father allowed him to go to the small
village near the kingdom and his father permitted him. Ali went to the village
with some of the king’s guard. There, he saw an old hovel. Without thinking
twice, he drew near to the hovel and knocked on the door. A few moment later,
an old woman opened the door. She felt so surprised because she knew that the
young boy who stood in front of her was a king’s son. When he entered the
hovel, he looked at a young boy who was the old woman’s child named Chafid,
slept on the small bed. Ali asked the old woman, “Who is he? Is he your son?”.
Resolution

In the following day, Chafid went to the kingdom. In there he met Ali and as
usual, the servant gave an egg to the young boy. Few minutes later, the royal
servant has gone and it was the time for Ali to know whether what Chafid’s
mother had told him was true or not. After that, Chafid took a knife and divided
the egg into two equal parts and gave the one part to the Ali. Ali was very
surprised. Finally he had found someone who he really wanted since long time
ago. Since that, Ali and Chafid became friend.
