PHONE CHARGER USING

BODY HEAT
AIM:

• Our project- the phone charger aims at designing a phone charger by using up
the body heat(otherwise wasted) of the wearer and utilising this energy to
power the charger.
• Hence, we intend to design a 100% eco-friendly, portable and efficient
everyday.
 ABOUT THE PROJECT

• In recent days, most of us have portable laptops and mobile phones in our hands.
• Mobile being the most capable device at present generation.
• Battery is the reason for making mobiles portable and handy.
• Discharge of our battery make our lives quite uneasy.
• Though we have power banks and quick charge facility to overcome such situation but are
not so convenient.
• Our team is developing a technique to technique to harvest heat generated by our bodyto
charge our phone.

We make use of reverse peltier effect which converts temperature

difference,into electricity.

Therefore boosting this to charge our phone is challenging.In first

stage only the voltage is boosted

In second stage, a combination of capacitors are charged for a long time.In the last stage the increased power is taken
out to charge the phone.
 FEASIBILITY

• The implementation of our project would be beneficial and useful to people of all age
group irrespective of their physical conditions, geographical location, financial status etc.
• To name a few, the general difficulties faced while using an ordinary charger are.
• Finding a suitable plug-point pin.
• Use of wire .
• Need of external energy.
• These difficulties can be overcome with the design of this project since it
uses the heat energy of the wearer alone and does not take any external
energy supply, and neither does it require any wire to do the same.
• This project is designed at low cost so that the product will be available to
all sundry.
