Predicate Logic
Propositional logic is useful, but it has one big drawback: we cannot talk
generally, but only about specific examples (propositions). Predicate logic
overcomes this by allowing us to quantify over variables.
A practical problem arises when such predicates are used to express statements

How do we express “every student”? We need variables that can stand for
constant values, and a quantifier symbol that denotes “every”. Using variables
and quantifiers, we can write:
m(m(andy)) = m(m(paul))
