include manufacturing,
distribution, marketing, sales, procurement,
accounting, HR management, legal and
knowledge management, technology
management.
ITE services:
• IT Enabled services (ITES), also called
web enabled services or remote servisor Tele-
working, covers the entire gamut of
operations which exploit Information
Technology for improving efficiency of an
organization.
 difference between IT and ITES
•  IT stands for INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
wherein ITES stands for Information
Technology Enabled Services . ITES is a part of
IT ,ITES also has a part called BPO Business
Process Outsourcing.

skill, expertise. The work in KPO involves
process like market research, survey analysis,
data mining etc. ). information-related

company's value chain.

information gathering ,e.g. intellectual
property research for patent applications; equity
research, business and market research, legal
and medical services; training, consultancy,
and research and development in fields such
as pharmaceuticals and biotechnology; and
