Brief Background about the organization
Home Credit Group is an international consumer finance provider with operations in 9
countries. It was founded in 1997 in Czech Republic and is headquartered in
Amsterdam, Netherlands. The company provides loans and financial solutions primarily
to people in a very easy, simple and fast way.
Home Credit Group entered the Indian market in 2012. Home Credit India has an
employee base of 10+ Employees and has been consistently expanding operations since
its entry in 2012, with its operations spread over 179 cities across 20 States in India.

Reason for selecting the company
The reason behind this is that Home Credit uses Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
systems to manage their business functions within a centralized and integrated system.
ERP stores all entered data into a single database, allowing all departments to work with
the same information.

Identification of the main functions
Home Credit has the following main function :
o Consumer Financing
• POS Loans: POS loans are offered to finance purchases of consumer goods such as
mobile phones, home appliances by individuals at the physical “point of sale” either in
the retailer’s store at the time of purchase, or online at the time of purchase, typically
in conjunction with a retailer’s online store or platform.
• Cash loans: Cash loans are offered to customers for consumer goods or services
without a point of sale connection and, subject to local regulatory requirements,
without specifying the goods or services to be purchased.
• Revolving loans: Revolving loans are offered to existing customers who have built a
relationship and have a credit record with Home Credit through POS loans and/or cash
loans.
