Lucy graduates from Belmont Secretarial
PLOT Rising action
Lucy encounters strange incidents as she
College. She gets a job as a secretary at sets down to work alone at the office.
Ross and Bannister’s but she’s having Lucy faces problems as the begins to type
diffuculty to handle her job as the ghost her letters. The typewritter seems to have
of the previous long-time secretary a life of its own. The word QWERTYUIOP
haunts the machine keeps appearing on the letter.

Lucy battles with Miss

completes typing her letters by
erasing the unwanted messages.
