BELIEF
• A god fearing man. He was always praying or reading the bible.
• He never wants to kill, but to heal and nurture people.
• Still, he is loyal to his country
COMBAT
• He refuses to carry a gun or a bayonet
• He entered the service as a medic to avoid killing
• Doss darted into enemy’s sight line to save a wounded man.
• Countless times that he had saved his fellow soldier and he was
severely injured by his heroism.
• He prayed to the God in the hopes of winning.
