 DEMONSTRATIVE DETERMINERS

Demonstrative Determiners : THIS

Words that are being use to show nouns or THAT
the amount of object that being talked about.
THESE
It is also to show the distance of the items THOSE
with the speakers.
THIS (ini) – THAT (itu)

This / That is being used when there is only ONE item.

This (ini) is for near distance. That (itu) is for far distance.

Example:
This apple is sweet (Apel ini manis)
That is a burger (Itu sebuah burger)
This book is cute (Buku itu lucu)
EXAMPLE

Use THIS or THAT:

That is a camera

This kite is colorful

 These (ini) / Those (itu)

These/Those is being used when there are more than one item.

These (ini) for near distance. Those (itu) for far distance.

Example:
Those apples are sweet (Apel-apel itu manis)
These are books (Ini buku-buku)
Those are my pencils (Itu pensil-pensil saya)
